YOUR 4 -TREE MINI-ORCHARD COMPRISES OF THE FOLLOWING

If you're looking for fruit trees for sale, then look no further than our sensational Mini Orchard fruit tree collection!

Delicious Crisp Braeburn Apple

Braeburn trees are renown for their massive cropping - and even in the first growing season these trees will yield several pounds of juicy, crisp, mouth watering fruit, thereafter the crop size just gets bigger and bigger every year.  They are ready to enjoy from September onwards, and if stored in a cool place will last up to three months.  Home freezing will allow you to savour that delicious Braeburn flavour all year round.

Juicy Sublime Conference Pear

Everyone knows that ripe juicy British pears are one of the most succulent fruits you can eat.  The 'Conference' variety has a flavour of it's own which is just simply sublime.  Once established your tree will produce over 100lbs of delicious fruit every year.  You can pick your fruits whilst hard from mid-September to store in a cool place - then allow them to ripen in a bowl at room temperature as required.  Alternatively just leave them to ripen naturally on the tree during October.

All Time Favourite Victoria Plum

Once tasted never forgotten. Our Victoria Plum tree is a popular classic offering incredibly juicy flavoured fruit and bumper crops year-upon-year.  You can expect your tree to be laden with at least 100lbs of fruit for the next 30 years and beyond.  Harvest from late July onwards, Victorias are ideal for jams, preserves and pies, or if kept in the freezer you can enjoy these beauties all year round.

Wonderfully Sweet Stella Cherry

Stella is a beautifully sweet eating cherry with large mid coloured red fruits. It was the first sweet eating cherry to be self-fertile and is the best choice for a UK garden. The fruit are juicy with a good flavour and are prolific especially when grown in a sheltered position. Beautiful white flowers will be produced from April and the fruits will be ready for picking from late July. A great cherry to eat fresh from the tree.Masses of rich, dark, juicy fruits. Picked later than other varieties means they're extra sweet thanks to the mid- August sun. The fruits are literally bursting with juicy flavour and are perfect eaten straight from the tree

  • Your bare root trees will come in a dormant state so will have no foliage. However they have an abundance of buds that are ready to burst into life during spring. If you carefully bend the tree you’ll notice that it is fairly flexible, not brittle, which means there is still moisture and life within the tree. Alternatively you can do a simple bark test. If you gently scrape an area of bark from the surface of the tree you will see fresh and healthy green growth. This is a sign of a fit and strong tree that will spring into life the following season.

Planting Instructions

Position your fruit tree in a sunny, sheltered spot to help maximize fruit ripening and protect it from extreme and adverse weather conditions such as strong winds and harsh frosts.

Digging the soil before planting is recommended for aeration, breaking up compacted subsoil and improving drainage; you should also remove any perennial weeds and add organic matter such as well rotted garden compost at this point too.

The planting hole should be about one third wider than the root system and the same depth, so that the level of the soil is equal to the soil mark on the stem of the tree. Sprinkle in some fertiliser around the base and sides and lightly fork over to mix in and to allow for easy extension of the root system.

Place the tree in the hole ensuring that trunk is upright, then refill with the excavated soil. Gently press down with the heel of your boot to firm the soil and water in well.

A newly planted tree should be watered once or twice a week during hot weather and less so during cool weather. This is dependent on soil type; if your soil is heavy clay you will find that you need to water less however if it is a light sand then you will have to water more often

Care Instructions

Please ensure upon receipt you immediately fully submerge the root systems in water and leave to soak for at least 2 hours before planting.
